Good morning friends!

The few friends I have left reading this blog ūüėȬ† I know, blog posts are few and far between lately but like I said, I’d like to start posting more so here I am!

First, a little life update.¬† We had a rough start to the year with lots of sickies through January and the beginning of February.¬† If someone was getting better, someone else was getting sick ūüôĀ¬† We spent a small fortune at Simply Nutrition through the month on natural cold medicines and were at the doctor at least once for each kid.¬† It was fun!¬† BUT, luckily we are all on the mend and just in time for a family vacation too!

The Love Nugget is our happy little traveler so he’s SUPER excited about our upcoming trip which includes a plane ride.¬† Our Little Muffin (AKA Monster), is not as great of a traveler.

This time of year can bet CRAZY!!!!!¬† We get busy, there’s less time to workout, there’s more temptations, etc.¬† Which is why the average amount of weight gained over the holiday season is 7 pounds!!!! Can you believe that?¬† This is why “lose weight” or “get in shape” are two of hte most popular New Years resolutions.¬† This year I’m vowing NOT to be one of those people setting that resolution.¬† This year I’m vowing NOT to stress about gaining weight over the holidays.¬† This year I’m vowing NOT to go to parties and avoid enjoying foods or beverages that I really want to enjoy.¬† I’m going to enjoy them without feeling guilty and without over doing it.

Summer Strong Bootcamp!!!

Summer Strong Bootcamp!!!

Hi friends!

I’m SO thrilled to share some exciting news with you all. ¬†If you caught my post the other day, you read¬†that during my time away from blogging, I was busy studying to get my NASM Personal Trainers Certification. ¬† You also read that I passed!!!!!

So what does this mean? ¬†Well previously I was Group Fitness Certified which meant I could teach group fitness classes. ¬†It was great but I wanted to do more. ¬†Now I can train clients individually, in a group, in person or¬†online. ¬†Which is what I’m so excited to share about today! ¬†I’ve been working hard on putting together an awesome online bootcamp¬†called Summer Strong. ¬†This bootcamp will be different from any of my previous Beachbody affiliated bootcamps and is 100% created by me. ¬†While I believe in the Beachbody programs and am still a coach, I’ve found that this specific approach to eating and these particular workouts are working well for my body right now. ¬†In the past several months, I’ve been tracking my macronutrients and have noticed huge gains in strength, significant fat loss, improved energy, and a newfound sense of food freedom I didn’t know existed. ¬†I’ll share more about that soon but for now I wanted to invite you all to¬†experience those things as well! ¬† I’m so excited about this new bootcamp that will begin on July 31st.

This four week bootcamp will include,

  • ¬†4 weeks of effective workouts that can be done at home or at the gym
  • ¬†A nutrition guide that is based around tracking your macronutrients. ¬†No portion cups, no calorie counting, just the right percentages of real foods
  • An online accountability group where you‚Äôll receive support from myself as well as other groups members
  • Education and tools necessary to learn about macros, tracking your food, and fueling your body properly

There’s still plenty of summer left in summer to feel confident and strong in your body!

I’m Back!!!!

I’m Back!!!!

Hey friends!

Long time no talk right?!? ¬†I’d say I’m sorry for being so MIA BUT the truth is, I’ve enjoyed taking some time off from all things blogging. ¬†When I say all things I mean I haven’t logged on to my blog in MONTHS nor have I read another blog in MONTHS. ¬†There were a few reasons why I decided to take a little break (I’ll touch on them later) but it ended up being a little longer than I had planned. ¬†Regardless, here I am! ¬†I do want to start blogging a little bit more but to be honest, it most likely will not be very consistent. ¬†I actually think blogging in general is fading. ¬†I see way more interaction on social media platforms than on actual blogs these days. ¬†Which honestly is where I spend more of my time these days. ¬†So if you don’t already follow me on Instagram, or Facebook, you should! ¬†¬†Anyways, since it’s been quite some time I thought I’d catch you all up on some things that have been going on in our lives lately. ¬†Even though I’m sure by this point I have ZERO readers ūüėČ
