Preparing for Baby with P&G and Walmart

Preparing for Baby with P&G and Walmart

This is a sponsored post for SheSpeaks/Walmart.

You guys!  I can’t believe we could literally meet our little guy any day now!   We are beyond excited to FINALLY grow our family.  It’s been a long road and we know the end result is going to be amazing!!!!

As we prepare to meet our little man, we’ve been making sure we’re all stocked up on all the major necessities.  Some that we didn’t have prior to The Love Nugget being born…

We learned pretty quickly after his arrival, to always expect the unexpected.  When we had The Love Nugget, we were new, unexperienced parents.  We didn’t know what clothes were best for him, what bottles to buy, or what diapers to use.  Diapers were one thing we didn’t really think were all that important.  I mean, of course we knew they were important to have, but we didn’t know the brand could make a difference.  I learned my lesson when The Love Nugget was about 6 weeks old and we were at a new mom meet up group.

I had him sitting on my lap happily while we listened and shared stories of motherhood.  Everything was all good until it was time to leave and I picked him up to put him in his car seat.  I discovered he had had a blowout all up his back and all over my shirt 🙁  To make matters worse it was a white shirt….

A mom next too me quickly pulled out her Dreft stain remover and said, “what brand of diapers do you use?” I had  used some off brand and she shared with me to use the tried and trusted Pampers Swaddlers to avoid any future blowouts.

We made the switch and were able to avoid any further unpleasant “oops” like that.  Even better, since I had immediately sprayed Dreft on my shirt and his outfit, the stains came right out!  Phew!

This time around I’m making sure to stock up on Pampers Swaddlers and Dreft Stain Remover.  As well as a few other necessities that could help me avoid some more “Ooops” moments.

If you’ve had a baby you know the first few weeks at home your nether regions aren’t feeling all that great.  So having super soft toilet paper and of course, Maxi pads will save some painful or uncomfortable situations from happening.   TMI but it’s true!

Like I said baby is due any day now so I’m thankful I remembered to grab these necessities before he makes his appearance.  Also thankful I was able to do it all in one quick stop at my local Walmart after picking up The Love Nugget from school.  Lately running errands is quite the hassle so it was nice to be able to run in, grab what I needed and get home without having to make a pit stop in the bathroom. Which is how most my outings go these days…. The joys of pregnancy!

I know we all have “Ooops” moments from time to time but to help avoid some of those moments from happening make sure to stock up on P&G necessities from your local Walmart!
