A Healthy Mint Chip Protein Milk Shake

A Healthy Mint Chip Protein Milk Shake

When we were in Disneyland The Love Nugget had his first milk shake from Ghirardelli Chocolate and Soda Fountain.  I know, first milkshake?  We just don’t really eat stuff like that and tend to make smoothies at home so he hadn’t had one. Of course he enjoyed it.  So much that I didn’t even get to snap a picture because it was gone before we knew it!

Upon returning home I wanted to show him that we can have a healthier version of an ice cream treat that’s just as enjoyable.  Luckily I had just received a large package of a delicious protein treat that’s much healthier than your average frozen yogurt.

Proyo is a yummy low calorie, high protein treat that’s made with skim milk, why protein, natural flavors, stevia and banana puree.

It comes in four delicious flavors and is in an easy to push up tube for “clean” eating.

Of course one way to enjoy it is straight from the tube but another tasty way is in a yummy “milk shake” like this one.

This particular flavor is one that is a favorite of The Love Nugget and I and was much enjoyed by us both.

And will definitely be made again!

  1. I have a question that I wanted to ask you since I know that you do a lot of healthy eating. What daily vitamin do you give your little boy? & what do you take just as one good daily. I was researching the Olly brand but they seem to have a few things I don’t know about giving my little boy in a vitamin like cane sugar and Glucose Syrup. What is your opinion?
