The Love Nugget has four sets of Grandparents that love him very much.
He adores each of them and gets so excited when he’s going to see them. Unfortunately, we don’t live all that close. Which means we aren’t able to get together as much as we’d all like. Especially the grandparents. They love seeing their grandson and hearing about how much he’s growing. Especially milestones. Even as he gets older they light up when he tells them about how he learned to ride his big boy bike, or that he has a new play structure and he climbs all the way to the top. So since they aren’t able to see him and his success’ in person that much, we try to keep them up to date through photos.
Photos here on the blog, on Facebook or Instagram and most recently through a new, fun way I found to send updates.
TheGiftCardShop.com has a fun, new way to share your memories. One that’s free and easy!
Photobooks! I love ordering hard copy photobooks when I have the time and patience to wait for them to be printed. However, like most moms, I don’t have time to upload, choose, place and order books as often as I’d like. TheGiftCardShop.com has made it possible to send adorable pictures in a fun way. They have a plethora of online photo books that you can personalize and immediately send to your love ones.
Simply select 10 photos from Facebook, Instagram or your computer and add captions to create your custom digital photo book. They play music and automatically flip pages with personalized photos and captions, so it looks like a book made especially for them!
You can also add a gift card for that hard to shop for someone who has everything they could possibly want. Like my father who would love to see updates of his grandson and receive a Cabella’s Gift Card 🙂
Or my mother-in-law who is always asking for pictures and with an added gift card to JCPenny, could then purchase some frames for those photos to go in.
Just like that I’m done with two Christmas gifts in a matter of minutes without leaving my couch. Now that’s holiday shopping!
Oh and don’t feel bad for giving a gift card and thinking it’s not a thoughtful gift! Gift Cards take first place in gift giving. In a new national study on gift giving from Millennials, expert Jason Dorsey and The Center for Generational Kinetics found that nearly 50% of consumers chose gift cards over physical gifts of the same value. So personalize your gift card with a photo book to give it that extra touch.
