First off, thank you all so much for the kind words on both my fertility post and my venting post. I try to keep things fairly positive here but sometimes life can be rough and keeping it real is part of blogging for me.
Today is a very special day for a very special guy. My wonderful Hubby!
I don’t brag about him enough but words can’t even describe how amazing he is. Not only is he a great friend and husband, but an extraordinary father. We are blessed to have him and will be showering him with love all day 🙂
While we don’t have a lot of festivities planned for today, we did do a little celebrating yesterday.
We drove to Sonoma to spend the day having fun with friends. And what fun we had!
We started at Train Town,
A super cute little amusement park that happens to be in one of our favorite towns, Sonoma!
We got there right around when they opened and hopped on the train. It drove around the property then stopped at a miniature town complete with a petting zoo.
It was cute!
Then we rode back to the station and went on a few amusement rides.
They had a blast!
After a few hours there, we headed to a nearby wine tasting location for wine and lunch 🙂
It was so nice being in a cooler climate and we had a great time just relaxing outdoors enjoying lunch.
We ventured to a winery next door called Hawkes where the server was so awesome inviting the kids back to help him serve us.
It was too cute!
After that it was time for some play in the park for the kiddos and relaxing for the adults.
We hung out for the afternoon then headed home. Unfortunately we chose the wrong time to drive home and what should have been an hour and a half drive was over 3…
Exhausted when we got home but such a fun day!
Now I’m off to spoil The Hubby for the day 🙂
