Happy Blogging Anniversary to me + Fun Giveaways for you :-)

Happy Blogging Anniversary to me + Fun Giveaways for you :-)

Hi guys!

What better way to start off the week than with a celebration!?!  It’s my 3 year blogging anniversary!  Woo hoo!  okay well it was actually more towards the middle of the month but things were busy and technically it’s still March right?  Besides, who’s counting the days at this point.  Three years!  It definitely doesn’t feel like it’s been three years.  You can see I’ve grown just a little as blogger when you look back at some of those first few posts.  Like this one,  or this one…

Even still I know there is always room for improvement and growth.  I mentioned briefly that I had thought about possibly taking a step back and either not blogging anymore at all or blogging less.  However, after hearing from a few of you personally as well as in my reader survey, I’ve decided to continue 🙂  I love connecting with so many of you through blogging and enjoy sharing my life with you all.  While it was definitely an adjustment at first I truly believe it’s helped me get through some very difficult times in my life.  When I opened up about my miscarriage it helped immensely to hear others relate.  When I changed my diet to Paleo so many of you shared experiences, recipes, etc. that made the transition even easier.  And the amount of love and support I’ve received from you all during our fertility struggles has been a large part of what keeps me going.

So basically I just want to say,

thank

For those of you who are new, for those who pop in from time to time and for those of you who have been with me from day one I am so grateful for you all!  Sending virtual hugs!

To celebrate I’m hosting a week of giveaways including many of my favorite things 🙂  Today’s giveaway features two of my favorite Paleo cooking products.

Even before I had the pleasure of working with Coconut Secret on this review, I LOVED their products.  The coconut aminos is the perfect substitution for soy sauce and I’ve been known to carry my bottle with me when we dine out for sushi.  The coconut sugar has quickly become one of our favorite clean baking products.  Even the Love Nugget asks if a baked good as coconut sugar or the bad sugar.  He knows what’s good for him!

One lucky reader will win a bottle of our favorite Coconut Aminos and container of Coconut Sugar!  I’m hosting this giveaway over on Instagram this time so head over there to enter for a chance to win!

Oh and of course since this is a pretty marvelous celebration, I’m linking up with Katie and her MIMM party!

QUESTIONS –

  • If you blog, how many years have you been blogging?
  • Have you tried Coconut Secrets products?  If so, which ones?

  1. Happy blogging anniversary, Giselle! Three years is quite the anniversary in blogging years. When people say they’ve been blogging since pre-2009, I think wow, they are ANCIENT. I’ve been blogging regularly for just over a year, although I first started in the summer of 2013 (and then immediately dropped out after a few posts). In the past year, I’ve had weeks of consistent blogging and other weeks where I’ve taken a break. Either way, I enjoy the blogging community, including your blog (obviously).

  5. Congrats Giselle and Happy Blog Anniversary 🙂 3 years is a great accomplishments. I have been blogging for a little over 2 1/2 years. I agree that it has gotten me through some good and tough times as well. It helps to have the support of others!

I haven’t tried coconut aminos but I have heard great things!

  9. Hey! I came across your blog looking for yummy Whole30 recipes and have found plenty! Thank you so much, and happy 3rd Year Anniversary! My husband and I are JUST getting on our own blog started (yougot30days.com) and we’re excited about the up and coming adventures…and still have so much to learn:). While going through your Whole30 meal plans (our April challenge is doing Whole30) I noticed that some dishes had links to the recipes and others did not. Do I just need to go back further to find the ones without a link? There were some that looked so yummy and I’d love the recipes. Thanks again!

    • Giselle Schroer says:

Hi Jessie and welcome! I’m glad you found me and are enjoying some of the whole 30 posts I did. I have several whole30 friendly recipes that I created on my paleo page but don’t think I have them labeled as Whole30. I need to do that soon! If they don’t have a link they were ones I was creating or were from a cookbook. Otherwise I tried to include a link to most 🙂 Good luck!

Good for you, sticking with it for three years! I love your blog and I can relate to so much of it! Even if I can’t relate I totally appreciate hearing a different perspective/experience.

I love Coconut Secret coconut flour. I use it to make banana bread and pancakes. YUM!
