“Beet” Still My Heart Smoothie with Silk Cashew Milk

Roses are red, violets are blue, make me a smoothie and I’ll love you!!!!

Haha!  I love smoothies but there’s someone else in our house who loves them even more.

The Love Nugget!  Every time I pull out the blender he comes running.  “Make me a smoovie!”

Since it’s a great way to get in some hidden veggies I always oblige.  Plus then I get to have some too!

Lately, we’ve been enjoying our smoothies with a new, creamy, dairy-free addition.

I’m not a huge boxed non-dairy milk fan but the new Silk Cashewmilk is one my family has been loving!

A new creamy product we could add to our smoothies, coffee, cereal or just enjoy by the glassful!

For now though, back to that smoothie…

Not only does it have rich, creamy, delicious cashewmilk, but an added nutrient dense vegetable that no one will even notice is present.

Which happens to give it a gorgeous red color perfect to serve to your loved one on Valentine’s Day.

"Beet" Still My Heart

  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1/2 cup frozen cherries
  • 1/2 cup cooked beets
  • handful of ice
  • 3-4 dates (or honey)
  • 1 cup cashewmilk
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract

  1. Place all ingredients into a blender, blend and enjoy!

Or just enjoy yourself 🙂
