Five on Friday!

Five on Friday!

Happy Friday!

Guess what!?!

We are home!  A mess, but home!  The Hubby is helping to install the granite today then we can put our kitchen back together and get settled in.  Right now our fridge is in the living room and we have no sink, oven, etc…  BUT… We are home!  As you can tell I’m just a little bit excited 🙂

I’d love to have the weekend to unpack and organize but we are headed out of town today to attend a wedding tomorrow.  Outdoors.  In 106 degree heat.  Yeah, it’s going to be hot!!!  Not much we can do about that but enjoy a little date night out.

Today I thought I’d do a different spin on “Five on Friday” and share Five of a few things I’ve been enjoying lately.

Enjoy!

Five Blogs worth visiting –

Fittin Pretty  – I just love Kim.  Period.  She is my blogging twin but she’s better at it.  We are always finding we have something from places we once lived to things with our boys.  Hope to someday connect with her in real life!

The Wellness Mama – Holistic approach to raising a family.  Awesome tutorials, tips, recipes and everything else natural!

Pumps and Iron – She always has great workouts and cute fitness apparel.

A Healthy Slice of Life – Brittany just had her second gorgeous little girl and hasn’t skipped a beat at posting awesome tips, recipes and recaps of things happening  in her life.  She’s so inspiring!  Plus she does one of my favorite link ups – Munchkin Meals – which I completely forgot about yesterday…

Sweat Guru – If you haven’t heard me mention it before, Sweat Guru is the new up and coming company/blog developed by my favorite Sweat Pink ladies, Jami and Alyse.  Not only do I love reading the different articles that their contributors publish, but am one myself so highly recommend checking it out!

  2. Yaaay congrats on the homecoming! Almost through this crazy stressful time! I love that reclaimed wood wall art but I’m a total failure at it–they make it look so easy!

WOW thank you for your kind comments about my blog!! I agree that we’re basically blogging soul mates, except I’m 100% sure that YOU’RE the one who’s doing it better!! We’ll definitely be meeting someday, I’ll make sure of it–either at a conference or as part of my upcoming (someday) wine country tour. 🙂 🙂

    Have a great weekend!

Thank you!!! So excited to be home but now I have so much I want to do! I’ve literally been walking around in circles not knowing where to begin.

No way! You are such a better blogger than I am. I have a feeling we’ll be meeting someday soon too:-) I am going to try my hardest to make it to HLS this year which is in your area right? If not yes, wine country trip!!!

  3. Thank you so much for the share. What a nice surprise to wake up to and a great new blog to follow along. Have a great day!!

  4. Congratulations on being in your new home! That’s so exciting! We are still living out of boxes right now too. We moved in last Saturday, and we have been busy non-stop so we haven’t been able to get much packing done.

    • Giselle Schroer says:

Thanks Becky! It feels so good to be home. Now to finish the work and unpack! Hope you get settled in soon! Unpacking is the pits 🙁

  5. HOORAY!!! Finally you are able to come on home!

  6. I need to get back into making gummies! I think coffee gummies are up next. I’m so glad you are getting settled back into the house.

  7. Congrats on being back in your home! It must feel so good to be home again!

I love the kids’ art area and something I might do. I bought a cork board to use for Keenan’s art work, but I like hanging them on a string better.

Have a great weekend being home!
