Currently I’m obsessed with this Paleo Bread!

Currently I’m obsessed with this Paleo Bread!

After so many toddler related posts last week with the Love Nugget’s birthday fun, I decided to take a break for a week.  I will be doing a toddler related post on Thursday though for Brittany’s Munchkin Meals!

I’ve been seeing this currently list quite a bit lately and since I haven’t done one in quite sometime, I thought it would be fun to do.

Current Book(s):

A book Called Defending Jacob that I checked out from the Library.

So far it’s pretty good and I’m only about 1/3 of the way into it.

Current Music:

I’m so outdated with music.  I very rarely listen to much of anything other than a few podcasts and toddler Radio on Pandora.  My favorite two podcasts of late are Paleo Lifestyle and Fitness and Balanced Bites

Current Guilty Pleasure:

Spoonfuls of this...

Current Nail Color:

Pink.  Summer love!

Current Drink:

Good old Agua!  I love water and drink it all day long!

Current Food:

Just finished off the last slice of this bread,

I know, it’s a mouthful of a title but seriously this bread is so good!

paleobread1

Even if you’re not into paleo or gluten-free, I highly recommend making this.  You won’t regret it!  Oh and since it’s naturally sweetened you also won’t feel as guilty about eating it 🙂

Current Favorite Show:

Downton Abbey!  We finished season two last week and are going to have to get season three soon!  Both the Hubby and I love it!

Current Wish List:

A new phone!  My iPhone is old and starting to die on me so it’s about that time.  I’m debating on getting an iPhone 5 or making a switch to the Samsung Galaxy which I’ve heard good things about.  I’m just scared to ditch the iPhone!  Thoughts?

Current Needs:

A new laptop battery.  Well, a new laptop in general but I’ll settle for a battery for the time being.  It seriously goes dead after 20 minutes of being unplugged.

Current Bane of my Existence:

This dog in our neighborhood that has been barking until way past 12:00am!  Not only is he waking us up, but The Love Nugget too!  Grrr…

Current Celebrity Crush:

Hmmm… Don’t know that I really have one right now.  I’ve always been a Paul Walker fan and since there is a new Fast and Furious movie out, (how they made so many of those I’ll never understand) he’s been on T.V. a little more lately.  Which isn’t a bad thing!

Current Indulgence:

Frozen yogurt!  Not right this second but with the super hot weather we get it’s hard not to indulge in some cold froyo ever once in awhile!

Current Blessing:

We’ve been searching for a new home for the past few months with no luck.  It’s beyond frustrating but with the recent events in Oklahoma which left many people without a home I’m feeling blessed that we are lucky enough to have a roof over our heads!

Current Slang:

Huh, not sure that I use much “slang”  Although I remember when I was younger (like Jr. High younger) and we though it was cool to try and come up with new slang.  So we would look in the dictionary for synonyms that could be used for popular slang words like Zany for cool or “bunk” for “lame.”  Such nerds!

Current Outfit:

My latest Ellie outfit!

Not the best photo but it’s super cute!

I’ve actually been a member for a few months now and have received some really cute pieces!  I have yet to return an item and when I inquired about getting two tops rather than a top and a bottom they were more than happy to fulfill my request.  I’ve spoken to their customer service a few times now and they are always extremely helpful.
Besides the helpful customer service I’ve received, I’ve been very satisfied with their clothing. Here’s a few things I love about their outfits so far,
  • They fit well!  The tops aren’t too short and don’t ride up which for me and my long torso is a plus!
  • The pants are thick enough that when you bend over the person behind you isn’t getting a show 🙂
  • Their clothing is unique and cute!
  • Everything I’ve gotten has been super comfortable and fashionable enough to wear throughout the day which I often do!

Love the back of this top!

What’s cool about Ellie is that if you sign up for the membership but don’t feel like purchasing for a month (or more) you can easily call and postpone until the next month.  Simple!  Also, you have the option to allow their stylist to do the picking for you if you’re not feeling up to making a decision.  Which can sometimes be the hardest part with all their cute outfits!

Oh and guess what?  They are offering first time members and My Healthy Happy Home readers 20% off their first order.  Just click here or use any of the Ellie links on my page and shop away!

Current Excitement:

That this is happening in a few weeks!  Seriously cannot wait!

Current Mood:

Relaxed.  Love Nugget’s asleep, feet are up, and hubby’s sitting next to me 🙂

    And that bread looks amazing!!

  2. That Ellie top is SO cute!! I love the color and the cut of it. It looks super comfortable, too.

  3. I’m pinning that bread recipe to make later. It looks fabulous and I love all of the ingredients! Those Ellie tanks are super cute. I’m currently reading Left Neglected and so far it’s just okay…I’ve had really bad luck with finding a good book lately.

    • Giselle Schroer says:

It is SOOO good! I’m bummed we are all out of it! This book I’m reading that I mentioned is pretty good! I like the mystery type books and this one definitely fits that category!

  4. Paul Walker…. he will always be one of my all time favs 🙂

  5. Oh my gosh I love that outfit! I am guessing the sports bra is attached? So cute!

    • Giselle Schroer says:

Yes, the sports bra is attached and it’s really comfortable! I’m super flat chested so I’m not real sure how it would be for someone with a larger chest. I got the extra small and it fits great!

  6. Cute new Ellie clothes! I have a few of their items, and I especially like the tanks. They fit really well and are flattering! 🙂 The paleo bread looks incredible!!

    • Giselle Schroer says:

I’m surprised how much I love their tanks! I don’t typically like tops with built in sports bras but these are really comfortable and cute!

  7. I haven’t heard of Ellie, but I’m going to check it out right now! I can use a few new workout tops.

I can’t wait to hear all about Fitbloggin! I wish I was going with you! 🙂 Also, your bread looks yummy!

    • Giselle Schroer says:

Yes! Definitely check them out! I just got an email that if you sign up before the 15th you get free shipping on all orders. After that I believe they are going to charge for shipments under $100. Their clothes are really comfortable and $50 for an outfit isn’t too bad!

  8. Super jealous of FitBloggin! I want to go so bad but it’s just not in the cards for my budget this year. Maybe next year…

I just got those Ellie capris too – LOVE them!

    • Giselle Schroer says:

The capris are so comfortable! I can’t wait for their next set of clothing to come out!

  9. Love that Ellie top!! I think their stuff is so cute.

SO wish I could go to Fitbloggin! Maybe someday. Can’t wait to hear all about it! 🙂

    • Giselle Schroer says:

It’s really comfortable too! I wish you could go to Fitbloggin too! I think we would have fun together 🙂 Next year!

  10. Love the new outfit!!
My celebrity crush would be Leonardo DiCaprio 🙂
That bread you made looks AMAZING!!! Yum!!

  11. That Paleo bread looks delicious I will have to try it as well as listen to those podcasts.

I may need to get an Ellie subscription but I’d heard mixed things about it so am still undecided.

    • Giselle Schroer says:

It is so good! I’m going to make some more for a little trip we’re taking this weekend. Love it! I had some doubts about Ellie too but have been very pleased with the clothes I’ve received the past few months. The cool thing is that if you don’t like the outfit you can ship it back and get a new one or a refund.

  12. Hi Giselle, I really admire your fitness and good eats. I’m a very very beginner and kind of lost with food and fitness (lethargy, fatigue, constipation, no energy, etc). I don’t want to lose weight but desperately need to gain health…and peace 🙂 I know you aren’t able to offer professional advice, but if you could email me with thoughts or feedback I’d SO appreciate it. Thanks.

  13. I have been dying to get over here and check out this bread recipe and it looks AMAZING!!! I am definitely trying this one!!! You know how much I love my breads! 🙂
