Congrats to those of you who made it through your first week of the Summer Ready Challenge!
One week down and two more to go! Not to bad right!?! Did you get in any other exercise this week on top of the challenge?
I know I didn’t mention much about weekend workouts but my thought was to leave it up to you. Saturday and Sunday are included on the spreadsheet and I encourage you to continue with your challenge exercises throughout the weekend. However, if you’re muscles are fatigued, your tired, worn down or like you need a rest, do so! Maybe take a nice long nap instead or try a yoga class in place of the challenge exercises. Totally up to you!

I’m fairly happy with how my week of exercise went. Like I mentioned the other week, I’m trying to scale back on my workouts a little incorporating a few low intensity training days which my body seems to be appreciating more 🙂
Saturday – Boot Camp class at 24hr.
Sunday – Rest
Monday – This treadmill workout for a total of 4 miles + this Tabata workout and challenge exercises before bed
Tuesday – Run to the gym, Boot Camp class, walk home and challenge exercises
Thursday – 40 Minute Elliptical and challenge exercises
Friday – This Crossfit style WOD I threw together this morning and maybe a return trip for yoga 🙂

Oh, I almost forgot! I’m running my first mud run tomorrow!
Actually, The Hubby and I are doing it together so I’m excited to have him by my side. It sort of snuck up on my and I feel like I’m completely unprepared. I don’t even know what I’m going to wear let alone what any of the obstacles are! It’s been on my fitness bucket list for awhile now and I finally talked The hubby into doing it. He reluctantly agreed only because his boss and wife are running it as well. Hopefully it will be fun!
